(More customer reviews)I'm glad I got this instead of a full size blender. It fits easily on the counter, holds a solid amount. I have mostly been making smoothies and shakes.
It's volume is no louder than any other, and it's convenience and cleanup is great.
The only possible negative I can say is that because the mixer has a graduated start, it doesn't have a super powerful "burst" mode like most blenders. However, it does get through ice very well with a subtle pulse in the blender speed as it goes.

(More customer reviews)This was a present for mother's day, and I've used it several times since. I'm very much enjoying making fresh pasta with family and friends. The pasta roller and cutter attachments in this kit work nicely. I use my own recipe, as I did not like the one provided. You get four cutting options with this set, two on each attachment. To me, a novice, I could have probably gone with just one attachment as they both produce the almost the same noodles. So you could save some money there. THE BIG disappointment is the ravioli tray. Although the pockets are deep enough for a nice amount of filling, and the star shape is cute, the ridges are not high enough to cut the top layer of pasta and seal the ravioli.

Twist the top the other way and all of the arms line up for storage. The feet that form the tripod base also slide up for storage.

This one has a high pitch sound to the motor and runs fast even on the slow setting. It's not what I was expecting the older modle was much softer and runs slower. I think I was sold a referbished pasta machine.
